Kaukauna Youth Baseball

Welcome to the 2024 KYB League Player Registration. This registration will allow you to register for any of the leagues we offer where are listed below.

A child will register for just 1 based on birthdate with 1 exception, if they play 9/10 or 11/12 Little League they will also be able to register for 9-12 Little League Season 2.

We offer leagues for the following age groups. There can be a grey area with kids that have summer birthdays. We typically suggest they play with their grade. We have tried to make this decision easier by only allowing registration options that would correspond to your child's entered birthdate.

All of our Travel Players must participate in KYB league play.

Leagues we offer are:

• 5/6 Coach Pitch (4K and 5K)
• 7/8 Coach Pitch (1st and 2nd grade)
• 9/10 Little League Kid Pitch (3rd & 4th grade)
• 11/12 Little League Kid Pitch (5th & 6th grade)
• 9-12 Little League Season 2 (Travel Players cannot participate due to conflicts, 3rd - 6th grade)

5/6

• Cost: $50
• Registration Close: TBD, typically mid-June
• Tryout: TBD, typically mid/late June
• Practices Start: TBD, typically late June
• Pictures: TBD, typically early July
• Games Start: TBD, typically early July
• Tournament: TBD, typically first weekend of August, Friday & Saturday

7/8

• Cost: $50 (plus fundraiser, see below)
• Registration Close: May 5th
• Tryout: May 7th
• Practices Start: May 12th
• Pictures: May 29th
• Games Start: June 3rd
• Tournament: July 25th - July 27th

9/10 & 11/12

• Cost: $60 (plus fundraiser, see below)
• Registration Close: February 18th
• Tryout 9/10: February 22nd (9yr olds: 6:00-7:00, 10yr olds: 5:00-6:00)
• Tryout 11/12: February 20th (11yr olds: 6:00-7:00, 12yr olds: 5:00-6:00)
• Tryout Location: Both @ Kaukauna High School in the Indoor Practice Facility
• Practices Start: March 4th
• Pictures: April 11th
• Games Start: April 15th
• Weekend Game Play: April 20th & 21st, May 4th & 5th
• Tournament: June 18th - June 23rd (rain dates include 6/24-6/26)

We will be doing a fundraiser for all age groups, with the exception of the 5/6 group.

The fee includes a personalized jersey and hat. Grey baseball pants are required and can be purchased anywhere you choose. The local sporting goods stores tend to have these in stock so they can also be tried on if needed (Play It Again, Dicks Sporting Goods, Scheels).

We're always in need of coaches to run our leagues, if you would like to volunteer your time as a head or assistant coach, please follow the link below to register as a coach.

We're always in need of people to help us maintain our fields, especially when bad weather comes our way. We are fortunate to have tarps on all our fields which helps us get much more games in each year than many other surrounding communities. We cannot do that without the help of our parent volunteers which donate their time to cover and uncover the fields when needed.
